He lived from 1904 to 2001. Polish a visual artist, designer of industrial designs. After graduating from the Municipal School of Decorative Arts, he studied at the Faculty of Sculpture of the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of Jan Szczepkowski. After graduating in 1928, he devoted himself to artistic work, his works were exhibited at the Zachęta and the Institute of Art Propaganda. From 1935 he cooperated with the porcelain factory in Ćmielów, for the needs of this plant for sixty years he designed ceramics and utility objects. After 1945 he also worked as a vocational teacher at the vocational school at the former Tielsch and Krister porcelain factory in Wałbrzych and at the State Ceramic School in Bolków. Ceramic haberdashery designed by Wincenty Potacki has been repeatedly presented at domestic and foreign design fairs m.in at the "Design for Society" Fair and the Poznań International Fair. Many projects received awards and gold and silver medals. For his work, the artist received the Knight's Cross of the Order of Restituta Polish, the Gold and Silver Cross of Merit, the award of the Minister of Culture and Art and the Minister of Construction and Building Materials. Wincenty Potacki cooperated with the Group 10 operating in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, gathering artists, for joint projects the artist received the award of the President of the City of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
